Carnavalet Museum

Museum dedicated to history of Paris and Parisians. From prehistoric times to the present day, the history of the French capital is represented through collections, works of art and models that illustrate the city in different historical periods, distributed in over 100 rooms. The museum is located inside two historic buildings, thehotel Carnavalet and l 'hotel Le Peletier de Saint-Fargeau, in the heart of the Le Marais district. The itinerary of the permanent collections goes from the ground floor to the second floor and it is also possible to visit the gardens. The only flaw: the descriptions of the various works are written only in French.
